Call for Papers: Workshop on Human Trafficking, International Crime and National Security
Papers are being accepted for the "Workshop on Human Trafficking, International Crime and National Security: A Human Rights Perspective" to be held February 3-4, 2012 in Goettingen, Germany. Its goal is to provide a forum for the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas among lawyers, economists, political scientists, sociologists, and other scholars. Empirical, theoretical, and policy-oriented papers are welcome. It is organized by Dr. Seo-Young Cho, who developed an index to measure the level of anti-trafficking policies in 177 countries for the 2000-2009 period.

Deadline
The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2011.Workshop Details
Roughly 30 papers will be accepted. Presenters of accepted papers are expected to attend the entire workshop. It will be held at Georg-August University of Goettingen, Germany. Goettingen is an old university town located in the central part of Germany, roughly 2 hours from Frankfurt by train. Beth Simmons, the Clarence Dillion Professor of International Affairs in the Department of Government at Harvard University will deliver the keynote.Travel Reimbursement and No Registration Fee
Travel expenses will be reimbursed and accommodation will be provided for presenters of accepted papers. There is no registration fee.Submissions
